It’s a Syrian and a lot of them are long haired (or some just get fluffy bums, lol). There are a few different types, but mostly color is what makes it. I’ve owned a Teddy bear (like the one above) and a black bear (teddy beart with dark brown fur). Syrians are bigger than dwarf hamsters and have different temperaments.

It is a Long Hair Hampster. We had one for 3 years. They make wonderful pets. Really good with kids.
